Museums:
Remember that most museums in Italy
( the RC Museum is one of these! ) are closed on Mondays.
Food: Usually
you won't find the best restaurants in the main squares or streets,
but just around the corner.Shopping:
Corso Garibaldi is the city's shopping
street, here you' ll find the best Italian fashion designers'
boutiques ( Did you know Versace was from Reggio Calabria?)
Accommodation: There are
several luxury hotels in Reggio Calabria, but if you are on a
budget, you can go to one of the many B&Bs. Why should I
hire a guide?
Because, you can see more in less time, he/she
can suggest you the best places to visit. Which is the
difference between a good guide....and a bad one?
A good guide will always respect
the schedule, he/she won't cause trouble to the group, he/she will
have a deep knowledge of what he/she's going to explain ( museums,
churches, monuments, etc...), he/she will decline illecit requests
by group members, he/she will be able to choose the best possible
itinerary to reach a particular tourist attraction, and if that may
cause trouble to the group, he/she might even decide to skip that
place. Are the tours in English?
Of course, we also provide language services
in French and Spanish.
Why should I choose just you?
Because that's
what some of the best travel agencies and tour operators did ( see
contact page! ). How long does each tour last?
Approximately three hours.
How long in advance should I book your service?
As soon as possible! ( At least a 1
week notice would be highly appreciated). Can I visit
Reggio Calabria in one day?
Yes, sure, but if you want to enjoy the
breath-taking views of its province, then you should arrange your
tour with your guide, in order to customize it. Can
I take pictures in the RC museum?
No, you can't. Photos and filming are strictly
forbidden in the Museum of Reggio Calabria. Security:
Reggio is a relatively safe city, but be careful of pickpocketing on
buses and in crowded places (it's safer to avoid bags!).
